A little about me…
Hair and color have been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I don’t know where it came from but I turned it into a career that started in 2009 when I was still a teenager. My experience began at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon and Aveda institutes in San Francisco and New York. The philosophy behind the schools is simple: Teach a strong foundation to support consistent and creative work. Maintaining that foundation is key for me and my clients. I constantly stay current with industry and trend changes by attending annual advanced education seminars.
Another passion is connecting with people. I have a wonderful and loyal clientele who I advise with a realistic approach so they can achieve their vision. It is wonderful to help my clients find their best selves with color and shape.
A life brings changes, visions evolve. I like to focus not only on cut and color of the appointment, but also on the long term relationship. New ideas are found through connection and collaboration.
Beyond the salon I am a mother of three incredible children who serve as my inspiration. My husband and I love to cook, hike, and wrangle our kids.
Joel Pisani | hair stylist
Joel Pisani is a passionate stylist. He has a singular focus on hair, supported by a background of diverse experience.
Joel’s sister provided the catalyst for his career. An inspirational presence, she exposed him to styling, and he fell in love with the craft. With her encouragement, Joel pursued an apprenticeship under an Aveda Master, which culminated in a continuing education opportunity at Aveda’s prestigious school for color and cutting. Time and experience took over from there elevating Joel to a Master Level of styling but that's not the whole story.
Joel Pisani has built his business on a foundation of friendship and collaboration. He confidently guides his clients through the process with his extensive knowledge from eleven years behind the chair. Preferring the highest level of quality over the trappings of quantity, Joel intentionally keeps his client base to a size that allows him to remain creative and consistent. This work philosophy has earned Joel Pisani an exceptional reputation for every-day-living cut and color, bridal work, and music video styling.
Bernice Verdun Favaloro | hair stylist
Bernice Verdun Favaloro has enjoyed an illustrious career as a premier stylist at some of San Francisco’s most prestigious salons. After receiving training and accreditation from Yosh For Hair under Yosh Toya, and later went on to further fine-tuned her craft in Europe.
Specializing in various lengths, textures and styles for both women and men, she is an expert at analyzing face shape and hair type to determine the perfect cut for each unique individual. Over the years she has worked with a diverse range of clients, and her passion and commitment to each has left her with many long-standing devotees.
